Soil Restoration for Stormwater Workshop

Stormwater Permits
MPCA Industrial Stormwater General Permit Application Service Ready
Industrial Stormwater General Permit Holders
The MPCA is now ready to accept applications for coverage under the 2025 Multi-sector General Permit (MSGP) for Industrial Stormwater. All industrial facilities who have been operating under the 2020 issuance of the MSGP must now log in to e-Services and complete an application to continue coverage. All previously held ISW general permits will be considered expired at the end of August 2026.
A copy of the 2025 Multi-sector General Permit for Industrial Stormwater can be found on the MPCA website.
No Exposure Certifiers
All No Exposure certifications in Minnesota are expired. Regardless of when your facility last applied for the No Exposure certification, if you want to maintain the No Exposure status of your facility, you must now apply in e-Services.

MS4 Permit Reissuance Update
The MS4 Permit is still anticipated to be released later this summer (September). We have not seen what, if any changes the MPCA has made to the permit. There are additional details regarding comments that the MPCA has received on their MS4 General Permit website
The MCSC plans to host a listening session once the permit is released for public comment. The comment period goes by quickly with limited time to discuss comments, so please keep an eye out for this opportunity soon.
